Three years ago Founder, Mark Powls, recognized that Anderson County was lacking the quality of cultural entertainment desired by many of the residents. He realized that real economic development could be enhanced by having something cultural and entertaining to offer people of various interests. Furthermore, it was evident that desirable businesses and industries most likely wouldn't decide to locate in a community lacking the ability to provide certain cultural and entertaining activities during their down-time.
Research showed that a centralized facility with multiple entertainment capabilities could fill voids in the county and if, unique enough, attract potential and desirable industry, small businesses, and visitors to our area.
This facility will be built and maintained by the financial support of individuals and corporate contributors like yourself (as well as grants) and staffed with trained individuals in full and part-time positions to insure a successful operation. Much of the funding necessary to sustain operations will be acquired through proceeds from the movie theatre and live entertainment events. This will be a self-sustaining organization.

Board of Directors will be elected to oversee and make decisions on behalf of the membership and community.
The building will be constructed in phases. The initial phase will consist of build the basement level and the outer shell of the facility. The completion of this phase will usher in the ability to begin the operation of two movie theaters and some limited live entertainment.
The second phase of construction will yield a large performance theatre and the completion of the remaining interior of the facility. Large scale live entertainment, artist displays, educational programs and many other events will then become a reality.
The completed building project will offer the Anderson County area a wonderful new location for corporate retreats, small conventions, visual & performing arts summer camps/workshops and numerous other activies that will serve to boost the local economy.
